Georgian Inlaid Serpentine Chest
A late 18th to early 19th century Scottish mahogany four drawer serpentine chest.
The chest has box wood stringing and inlays to the drawer fronts, top edge, feet and chamfered front corners.
The four full length drawers are graduated in size, the top drawer has two divisions.
The drawers are ash wood lined and have a cock beaded edge and old replacement Georgian style brass knob handles.
The serpentine shaped frieze between the feet is inlaid and has a band of geometric design inlay.
The chest is excellent quality and in very good condition. (Circa 1800)
