Georgian Laburnum Elbow Chair
An early 19th century Georgian Scottish laburnum elbow or arm chair.
The chair is solid laburnum with a decorative panel of burr elm set in the back top rail, an inset back middle rail and swept reeded arms.
The front legs are decoratively turned and tapering, the back legs are square and kick out.
The chair has a late 19th to early 20th century needlework upholstered stuff over seat.
The chair is in good condition with an old small repair at the top of the right arm. (Circa 1820)
