An early 19th century Georgian mahogany free standing hall stand.
The stand has a platform base with concave sides and is raised on four turned bun feet.
The central turned column has twelve upturned cabriole shaped hooks on which to hang coats or hats.
The column has urn shaped details in the turning and a shaped finial at the top.
The stand is in good condition and has had the polish sympathetically restored, there are some old dead worm holes in the base. (Circa 1810)
