Georgian Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard
code:4485A late 18th century George III mahogany serpentine sideboard.
The sideboard stands on four square tapering legs with three drawers to the front, the right hand drawer is fitted as a cellaret.
The front of the sideboard and the legs are kingwood cross banded and the centre of the shaped frieze is inlaid with a large conch shell.
The drawer fronts are vertically veneered with flamed mahogany and have old replacement octagonal brass handles.
The sideboard is in good condition and has had the polish sympathetically restored. (Circa 1790)
