Georgian Mahogany Tray Wardrobe

An early 19th century Georgian mahogany tray wardrobe with a drawer base.

The top has a pair of doors with recessed panels that are ebony edged and have a reeded gilt brass bead where the doors meet.

The inside holds five sliding trays that are ash lined and have mahogany fronts.

The base has four short drawers over one long drawer with knob handles and an ebony line bead to the edge.

The wardrobe has an overhanging cornice and stands on shaped kick out bracket feet.

The wardrobe is in good condition, the knob handles are a later 19th century conversion.

The trays can be removed and stored and a hanging rail put in if required. (Circa 1810)
