Georgian Mahogany Treen Bobbin Stand
An early 19th century Georgian mahogany bobbin stand.
The stand comprises a square base lifted on flat bun feet with a carved beaded edge.
The base holds an oak lined drawer with a turned bone knob handle.
The upper part has a two tier circular bobbin rack that will take 16 cotton spools or bobbins.
The bobbins are held in position by a thin brass rod with a turned mahogany finial top.
The stand is in good condition and has 16 assorted cotton spools or bobbins. (Circa 1820)
