Georgian Partridge Wood Tea Caddy

A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian partridge wood tea caddy.

The oblong shaped tea caddy is veneered in Partridge wood with a box wood line edge and a ring handle to the lid.

The interior has two mahogany tea canisters with partridge wood hinged lids with box wood edges.

The interior also houses an original Bristol blue glass mixing or sugar bowl.

The tea caddy is in very good condition.

This item has been used as a prop in the television detective drama "VERA" which is mostly filmed in Northumberland. The episode it will appear in "Blood Money" will be shown in 2020.
