Georgian Scottish Silver Quaich


An early 19th century George III Scottish sterling silver 'quaich' friendship cup.

The quaich has sterling silver hall marks for Edinburgh, the year 1818, the head of George III and the maker's mark for James McKay.

The quaich is made from a very good gauge of silver with embossed decoration of flowers and a pair of handles.

The quaich is in excellent original condition with good hallmarks to the underside. (Circa 1818)
