Georgian Serpentine Dressing Mirror

A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian Sheraton design dressing mirror.

The oval mirror is cross banded and box wood edged with its original mirror plate and is held between two shaped arms by brass knobs on which it rotates.

The base is serpentine shaped, is cross banded and box wood edged and stands on ogee shaped feet.

The three drawers are mahogany lined and have a box wood edge and knob handles.

The top of the mirror base is veneered in excellent quality figured mahogany with kingwood cross banding.

The mirror is in very good condition with slight spotting to the original mirror plate. (Circa 1800)
