Georgian "Snake Wood" Cross Banded Chest
18th century Georgian mahogany chest of drawers with an unusual snake wood cross banding to the top and the drawer fronts.
The chest top has a broad thumb moulded edge and boxwood line inlay flanking the cross banding.
The chest has two short drawers over three graduated long drawers, the fronts cross banded and box wood strung.
The drawers have pine linings and chased gilt brass swan neck handles. The chest stands on shaped bracket feet.
The chest in very well made from good quality timbers and is in very good condition.
