An early 19th century Georgian steel and brass fire basket.
The basket has tapering turned brass front legs with finials each side of a serpentine shaped pierced steel frieze.
The front of the steel basket is serpentine with brass finials and a plain black steel back plate.
The fire basket is in good condition, the steel back plate is a later replacement. (Circa 1800 & Later)
