Georgian Style Brass Wine Cooler
A large Georgian style oval brass wine cooler or planter.
The cooler has a pair of carrying handles, a pierced gallery to the top edge, swag and tassels to the lower edge and stands on four paw feet.
The centre of the front and the back has a mask representing Bacchus (the Roman name for Dionysus, the god of wine and intoxication) with large swags and tassels to either side.
The wine cooler is in very good condition. (Circa 1900)
