A mid 20th century Georgian style sterling silver cream or milk jug.

The jug has hall marks for Sheffield, the year 1956 and the maker's mark for James Dixon & Sons.

The jug has a raised rim to the edge and the handle and stands on four ball feet.

The jug is in good condition with clear hall marks.
