Hepplewhite Style Display Cabinet

An early 20th century bow fronted mahogany display cabinet.

The cabinet stands on four square tapering legs with spayed toes.

The cabinet has a bow glazed central door with bow glass side panels.

The three shelves are shaped to follow the line of the glazing , they have a mahogany reeded front edge and are covered in material.

The lower part of the cabinet is for cupboard storage and has a pair of panelled doors in the centre and single doors left and right.

The cupboard doors have figured mahogany centre panels with shaped frames and all the doors have working locks and keys.

The cabinet has a shaped cornice with tapering moulding that terminates with an acorn.

The cabinet is of exceptional quality and breaks down into two parts for transport. (Circa 1910)
