Italian Marquetry Hall Bench

A 19th century North Italian Renaissance revival hall bench or cassapanca.

The bench has three Renaissance style marquetry panels of fruit wood and engraved bone inlay depicting hunting scenes.

The bench has a hinged seat with a storage box underneath and carved mythical winged animal arm rests.

The top and front has carved mask decorations and carved scroll feet.

The bench is in very good condition, has been sympathetically restored, there is some old wood worm that has been treated and is now dead.

The bench will come into three parts for transport.
