Japanese Carved Ebony Okimono
A late 19th to early 20th century carved ebony Okimono from the Meiji period (1864-1912).
The carving is of a cord bound sack of grain with rats climbing around and one rat with its head sticking out of a hole in the side.
The okimono is very well carved and in good condition. (Circa 1900)
