Late 19th Century Satsuma Plaque

A late 19th century Japanese Satsuma pottery wall plaque.

The plaque is from the Meiji period (1864-1911) and is signed at the top front edge and on the back.

The plaque is decorated with an evening scene of dignitaries on board a highly decorated boat under a moonlit sky.

The plaque is in good condition though some of the gilt rim is worn. (Circa 1890)
