A set of 24 pieces of early 19th century Georgian New Hall porcelain tea ware.

The set comprises ten cups and saucers, a cream jug, a sugar bowl, a plate and a tea pot stand.

The porcelain is beautifully decorated having a dark blue background with transfer and hand painted rural scenes and scenes with houses and smaller panels of individual fruit surrounded by gilt detail.

The circular plate has a scene with the title 'Edgecote Cottage' and many of the river scenes has men fishing with rods.

A few of the pieces have the design number 1159 hand painted in black underneath.

The set is in good condition with some rubbing to the gilt and the jug has an old crack at the base of the handle. (Circa 1820)
