Pair of Bronze Dancing Peasant Figures
A pair of 19th century bronze male and female figures of dancing peasants.
The female figure is of a young lady dancing and playing a tambourine in a flowing dress and with grapes and wheat at her feet.
The male figure is of a young man dancing with a small sickle in his right hand, the arm is protected by a guard.
The young man is wearing a hat with wheat and flowers decorating the rim and like the other figure has grapes and wheat at his feet.
The figures are in good condition, both are unsigned. (Circa 1870)
