Pair of Goldscheider Terracotta Figures
code:2692A pair of late 19th century Austrian terracotta figures of monks by J.Goldscheider.
The monks are in their traditional habits, one wearing sandals, the other boots and both drinking beer out of a stein.
The figures are signed 'J. Goldscheider' one underneath and the other on the back of the plinth.
The figures are in good condition with minor wear and some small chips around the underside of the plinth. (Circa 1890)
