Pair of Leather Gun Powder Buckets
A pair of mid 19th century thick leather and brass gun powder buckets.
The buckets are tapering, have rivet seams to the sides and base and a thick brass rim at the top.
The buckets would have been used to bring gun powder to a cannon on a naval ship.
The buckets are in good solid condition though one bucket sags slightly.
The buckets would make useful waste paper baskets. (Circa 1850)
