Pair of Mahogany Arm Chairs

A pair of late 19th to early 20th century mahogany desk arm chairs.

The chairs have a carved and rounded back that sweeps around into the arms and hand rests.

The chair backs have eleven shaped spars and turned arm supports to the front.

The turned mahogany legs splay outwards and are joined by decoratively turned cross stretchers.

The chairs have drop in pad seats that have recently been re-webbed and upholstered.

The chairs are mahogany throughout and in very good useable condition.

This item has been used as a prop in the television detective drama "VERA" which is mostly filmed in Northumberland. The episode it will appear in "Blood Money" will be shown in 2020.
