A late 19th century to early 20th century plaster bust.
The bust is of a French gentleman wearing a cap and smoking a pipe while the lower part of the bust is decorated with grapes, vines, a barrel, grape basket and shovel which leads us to believe he is a vineyard worker or owner.
The bust is signed A.Joliveaux and has a metal plaque on the front which states "Une Bonne Pipe Par Joliveau" which translates as A Good Pipe by Joliveaux.
The bust has had some restoration to the pipe hand and collar. (Circa 1900 )
