Rare Bronze Dog by Henry Snell Gamley

An Edwardian bronze figure of a dog by Henry Snell Gamley (1865-1928).

The bronze dog is one of his earlier works as he went on to become a specialist in sculptures for tombs and war memorials, mostly in Scotland the place of his birth.

The dog, possibly a Staffordshire terrier, is raised on a plinth that has the signature "H.S.Gamley 1905" on the back.

This well modelled figure is in good original condition. (Circa 1905)
