An unusual early 19th century Regency copper and brass barrel shaped samovar.
The samovar has a square pedestal base raised on reeded bun shaped feet.
The barrel has a pair of ring handles to the sides, a spout and tap to the front and the barrel is bowed at the back.
At the top is an oval lid with a reeded ball handle and inside is the housing to hold a heated iron bar which would keep the water hot.
The samovar is in very good original condition with only a few small dents and it's original iron bar in place. (Circa 1825)
