Regency Mahogany Cellaret
An early 19th century Regency mahogany cellaret.
The cellaret has a hinged lid, side handles and stands on four carved paw feet with concealed casters underneath.
The cellaret is sarcophagus shaped with flame mahogany veneer used in the recessed panels, the front sides and top have box wood line inlays.
The sides have decorative cast brass lion mask and ring handles.
The lid has a lock and key and hinges open to a lead lined compartment with eight partitions.
The cellaret is in good original condition. (Circa 1820)
