Regency Mahogany Elbow Chair

An early 19th century Scottish Regency mahogany elbow chair.

The chair has a serpentine shaped scroll carved top and centre cross rail while the arms are reeded and supported on turned urns.

The chair has turned front legs and square back legs that are joined by a diagonal turned mahogany stretcher.

The chair is in good condition with a drop in pad seat recently recovered in a green colour upholstery.

The chair at sometime had casters fitted and removed, though these were not original. (Circa 1820)
