An early 19th century Regency rosewood veneered sarcophagus shaped tea caddy.
The caddy is box wood edged, has a pair of gilt brass carrying handles, a lock but no key and stands on ball feet.
The interior is fitted with two hinged lid tea canisters and a heavy cut sugar or mixing bowl which we think are original.
The caddy is in good condition. (Circa 1820)
