An early 19th century Regency mahogany circular breakfast table.

The table top is veneered with 12 segments of highly figured mahogany and stands on a platform base.

The top has a beaded edge and the shallow frieze beneath has the same beaded detail.

The base has a triangular platform that curls under to create feet which have concealed brass casters and the edge of the platform has a bead decoration matching the top.

The central column is carved with acanthus leaves and has a circular carved surround at the base.

The table top sits on a square platform and is locked in place with a brass catch that when released allows the top to tip.

The table is in good condition and has had the polish sympathetically restored , some of the segmented veneer has been repaired in the past. (Circa 1810)
