Repeat Carriage Clock by Henry Marc

A 19th century French gilded brass carriage clock.

The clock has an eight day striking movement, a gilded case that has five bevelled glass panel sides and the dial is signed 'Henry Marc Paris'.

The rear door opens to adjust and wind the clock, the clock having a twin barrel works and striking the hour and half hour on a coiled gong.

The clock has a repeat button on the top which, when pressed, repeats the hour passed.

The clock comes in it's original leather covered carrying case which is blue velvet lined and in a worn condition.

The clock is in full working order and the works come with a twelve month guarantee.

The glass panel in the rear door has a small chip in the top left hand corner. (Circa 1870)
