Rosewood & Papier-Mâché Pole Screens
A pair of mid 19th century rosewood poles with decorated papier-mâché screens.
The stands are solid rosewood with a circular base and three shaped carved rosewood feet.
The poles have a carved baluster shape to the base, a thin turned stem and a removable urn shaped finial.
The screens are oblong with serpentine sides and are decorated with stag hunting scenes in the style of Edwin Landseer.
The screens have brass fittings to the back that allows them to be adjusted in height.
The pole screens are in good condition, one screen has a small chip to the lower edge. (Circa 1850)
