Rosewood Ship's Stick Barometer

A middle of the 19th century rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid ship's stick barometer.

The barometer has a brass cistern at it's base, a rosewood cased thermometer half way up and a brass framed glass covered dial at the top.

The dial has a pair of vernier scales and a maker's/retailer's mark "D McGregor Glasgow & Greenock".

The rosewood case has a hole below the dial so it could be suspended from a gimbal if needed.

The barometer is in good working condition. (Circa 1840)
