Sterling Silver Grape Dish & Scissors

A late 19th century Victorian sterling silver embossed grape dish and grape scissors.

The shaped dish has a hand grip to the top edge and has embossed flowers, fruit and foliage decorating the interior.

The grape scissors are engraved to match and both pieces have hall marks for London, the year 1890 and the maker's mark for James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler.

The dish and scissors are stored in a beautiful leather covered and velvet lined case with brass locking clips.

The case is marked with the retailer's name 'Pearce & Sons Goldsmiths Leeds, Huddersfield & Leicester.

The pieces are in very good original condition. (Circa 1890)
