A late 19th to early 20th century unusual mahogany two door coal depot.
The depot is unusual in that when you pull open the pair of doors the action brings a tray in the base forward that holds a shovel.
The depot has a turned mahogany handle with brass supports and mounts.
The interior has a metal coal storage container with a ring handle and the lower shovel tray has a brass liner.
The depot is in very good condition and is in working order. (Circa 1900)
