Victorian Bell Metal Door Stop
code:3139A quality mid 19th century Victorian cast bell metal door stop.
The door stop is cast in the shape of a male lion against a backdrop of ivy and a large serpent coiled above him, the serpent or snake is also the handle.
The lion sits on a plinth which is filled at the back with lead to give it more weight.
The door stop is in very good condition. (Circa 1850)
