Victorian Carved Rosewood Fire Screen

A middle of the 19th century Victorian carved and turned rosewood fire screen.

The screen has a needle work panel and stands on four carved cabriole legs with brass casters that have a cross stretcher.

The needlework panel is behind glass and held in a carved and fluted frame with 'barley sugar' turned rosewood supports.

The top of the screen has a carved fret work decoration and turned finials to each end.

The screen is in very good original condition with some discolouration to the needlework. (Circa 1850)
