A 19th century Victorian mahogany folding card table by W.Thornhill & Co.
The table has a brass plaque on the back which is engraved with 'W.Thornhill & Co 144 New Bond St London' and a Reg No: 52603 (1886-7).
The brass plate also holds a brass drawer that is used to store game markers.
The table is made from very good quality mahogany and has a folding 'X' framed integrated stand that has a locking bar when opened.
The stand and board are box wood strung with marquetry flowers and baskets of flowers surrounding the baize playing surface.
The edges of the board have a selection of whist counters and cribbage boards fitted and inlaid.
The card table is in good condition and comes with three turned pegs for the cribbage boards. (Circa 1886-7)
