Victorian Leather Bound Jewel Box

A 19th century leather bound jewel box.

The box has a hinged lid and front panel and a working lock and key.

The interior has a drawer, two lidded compartments with "Gold" and "Silver" on the lids and a compartment for "Notes" on the underside of the lid.

The box has a lovely engraved gilt brass carrying handle on the top that can be used when the box is closed and locked.

This very pretty box for jewellery or trinkets is in good condition. (Circa 1880)
