Victorian Marble & Gilt Brass Pedestal
A 19th century Victorian cream and brown grain marble pedestal.
The pedestal has a rotating platform top and has gilt brass mounts around the neck and base.
The pedestal has a square block base with cut corners, eight sides and a button edge that has a gilt brass mould rim.
The pillar is held to the base by a spectacular gilt brass collar decorated with scrolling acanthus and cartouches.
The upper end of the pillar has a gilt brass capital that is chased and engraved. (Circa 1860)
