A 19th century Victorian turned wood two tier bobbin stand.
The stand is constructed from mahogany, box wood and ebony which has been blocked and then turned on a lathe.
The stand has two tiers with twelve spikes to place bobbins on and the top has a cup which has a pin cushion inserted.
The stand is in original un-restored condition and does have a joint split to each tier and the stand comes with four Victorian bobbins of cotton. (Circa 1870)
