Victorian Tunbridge Ware Tea Caddy
A middle of the 19th century Victorian Tunbridge ware tea caddy.
The caddy is rosewood veneered with a panel of specimen woods inlaid in a 'Tumbling Blocks' pattern in the lid.
The body of the caddy has a broad band of Tunbridge inlays around the centre of flowers and scrolls.
The interior has a single rosewood veneered lid and the original paper lining to the underside of the hinged lid.
The caddy is in good condition, the interior has lost it's foil lining and the key fits the lock but does not work. (Circa 1860)
