William IV Mahogany Hall Stand

A magnificent 19th century William IV mahogany hall stand.

The stand has a turned centre column with twelve shaped hooks for hats and coats and is topped with a finial.

The stand has a triangular concave sided platform base that is raised on casters and has claw feet with scrolling acanthus supports.

The centre pillar has a circular tray for walking sticks and umbrellas below the centre column.

The hall stand is in very good condition with a mark on the circular tray.

The hall stand comes with a glass preserve that can be fitted over the tray.

This item has been used as a prop in the television detective drama "VERA" which is mostly filmed in Northumberland. The episode it will appear in "Blood Money" will be shown in 2020.
